Tesla Powerwall 3 Installation

Tesla Powerwall 3 supplied, designed and installed by a Tesla Certified Installer and Tesla Full Energy Partner, with backup and non-backup configurations from £6,995 fully installed across Lancashire and the North West.

Tesla Powerwall 3 Installation Prices

Install Solar Panels is a Tesla Certified Installer and Tesla Full Energy Partner, designing Powerwall 3 systems across Lancashire and the North West.

Tesla Powerwall 3 with Tesla Remote Meter starts from £6,995 fully installed. This lower-cost non-backup configuration does not power the home during a grid outage.

Tesla Powerwall 3 with Backup Gateway starts from £7,995 fully installed and provides outage backup capability where the property and final design are suitable.

Powerwall 3 with Expansion starts from £10,995 fully installed. Powerwall 3 with Gateway and Expansion starts from £11,995 fully installed, providing 27 kWh combined nominal energy capacity.

Why Choose Tesla Powerwall 3?

Powerwall 3 stores 13.5 kWh of energy, includes an integrated solar inverter with three MPPT inputs and provides app-based monitoring of solar generation, household consumption, battery state and energy flows.

Published Tesla UK figures include up to 11.04 kW on-grid and backup power depending on local conditions, 97.5% solar-to-grid inverter efficiency, a 10-year warranty and support for up to four Powerwall units.

Tesla Powerwall 3 + AIKO Solar Packages

Our featured solar package combines 12 × 490 W AIKO solar panels, Tesla Powerwall 3 and Tesla Backup Gateway from £11,995 fully installed, with a 5.88 kWp nominal panel array.

Fourteen 490 W AIKO panels with Powerwall 3 and Gateway start from £12,495 fully installed. Eighteen 490 W AIKO panels with Powerwall 3 and Gateway start from £12,995 fully installed.

Every figure shown is a starting price. Final quotation is subject to survey, property layout, electrical works, scaffolding and access, DNO requirements and confirmed system design.

Tesla Backup Gateway or Remote Meter?

Backup Gateway supports automatic outage response, Backup Reserve and Storm Watch where supported. The Remote Meter option supports Self-Powered and Time-Based Control modes but does not supply household power during a grid outage.

Tesla Powerwall Installers Across the North West

From Chorley, we install across Lancashire, Preston, Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan, Greater Manchester, Liverpool and Merseyside, Cheshire and the wider North West.

Each quotation considers the property, existing electrical arrangement, household energy use, solar potential and the required backup configuration.

A Complex Tesla Powerwall 3 & Four-Roof Solar Installation

This genuine Install Solar Panels project was considerably more involved than a straightforward solar-and-battery installation. It combined solar across four separate roof areas, scaffold access around four sides of the property, preparatory roof work, restricted side access and a substantial external Tesla home-battery system.

  • Solar across four separate roof areas
  • Scaffolding and access to four sides of the property
  • Chimney removed and the affected roof area made weather-tight
  • Side-access gate rehung to improve access
  • Two Tesla Powerwall 3 units, one Tesla Gateway and two Tesla Expansion units

Designing Solar Across Four Separate Roof Areas

The property did not have one uninterrupted roof face that could be treated as a single array. The usable roof sections, safe access and installation sequence had to be considered together as one coordinated four-roof solar project. No panel count, orientation, system output or generation estimate is stated.

Four-Sided Scaffolding and Access Planning

Safe access to the separate roof areas required scaffolding and access planning around four sides or elevations of the property. The scaffold arrangement was a central part of making the multi-roof installation possible rather than a minor addition after the solar design.

Removing the Chimney and Making the Roof Weather-Tight

Scaffold access was established so the chimney could be dismantled and removed material could be brought safely down from roof level. The affected roof area was then properly closed and sealed so that it was weather-tight before the remaining solar work was completed.

Reworking the Side Access Before Installation

The side access was restricted, and the existing gate did not open in the most practical direction. It was removed and rehung from the opposite side to create a better access path for the team and installation equipment.

Installing the Solar Arrays

Once the access arrangements and roof preparation were complete, the solar arrays were installed across the four separate roof areas. Genuine project photographs show finished black panels on different parts of the property with scaffold access around the roof sections.

Installing Two Tesla Powerwall 3s With Expansion Storage

The verified final storage configuration was exactly two Tesla Powerwall 3 units, one Tesla Gateway and two Tesla Expansion units. The equipment was installed externally as part of the wider solar project, with completed isolators and cable containment visible in the genuine project photographs.

Bringing the Whole Installation Together

The project required coordination between chimney removal, weather sealing, four-sided scaffolding, restricted side access, gate rehanging, four solar roof areas, solar electrical work and the external Powerwall, Gateway and Expansion equipment. The Solar Survey provides a structured starting point for identifying these property-specific requirements.

The Finished Installation

The completed installation incorporated solar across four roof areas and the external Tesla storage equipment as one coordinated home-energy project. The photographs show both the finished roof work and the completed battery equipment without making claims about savings, generation or customer operating results.
